We have the pleasure to invite you to our Field Day on Tuesday the 11th of June 2013.The event is scheduled to take place at the NedaLibya Trial Field at the farm of of Mr. Abu Zaid Al Abiad in Qasr Ben Gashir, Marazig.

Programme Preview:

• 10:00 - Opening Ceremony & welcome by Dr. Eng. Ghait Mohammed Ghait who will present this year's experiences with HZPC-varieties Hermes and Taurus grown for the chips line of SunBula Company;
• 10:30 - Presentation by Eng. Mohamad Nabil, Senior Product Development Manager at HZPC Holland B.V. on the production of new varieties within HZPC;
• 11:00 - Lecture 'Nutritional Needs of the Potato Crop' by Eng. Mamun Dweek of Tajuri Company
• 11:30 - Presentation 'Common diseases affecting the potato crop in Libya' by Eng. Hassan Hadad and Eng. Khaled Moussa Abussnaina of Tajuri Company;
• 12:00 - Presentation by Stefan Rüdig of Grimme Company on mechanised potato production;
• 12:30 - A tour of the trial field with a demo harvest to view the new potato varieties up close; as well as demonstration of the Grimme Potato Planter GL 32 E and Ridging Hiller GH, and demonstration of the Dacom weather station.
• 13:30 - Tombola & Closing Ceremony
• 14:00 - Lunch
